News and About Me!!!!

About me first? Well, I'm overly scatty, dellusioned that I have a sense of humour and favourite past-time is to stalk ***** (you know who you are :D) and generally drive people round the bend like Harpic... Do you get that in America? It's a form of bleach for cleaning U-bends. ;-) yep! That's all!

Oh and...Since I joined this community in May, I have felt a tremendous amount of growth on a personal and emotional level. I have found self assurance, warmth, acceptance and love ... I want to thank you all for this, for without you I would not be the person I am becoming. On a singing level, I think I have found a confidence I have lacked all my life. I love that I am growing and sharing my joy of music with others and loving listening to all your really wonderful voices... I am having so much fun.

One of the hugest influences in my growth has been the Everyone's a Winner Challenge (BronxBruce's idea), run here on Tuesdays-Tuesdays from 6PM EST... and Everyone's a Winner - 'Live Chat' (click on the link top of page to get more details) Go back a few years ago I would not even have entertained the idea of entering a chat room let alone singing there.

Everyone is so wonderful and supportive and I sang 'live' on 28.12.07 and won 3 laptops (that means an ad came up and I froze) got My Favourite Things (first viewing) completely out of time, wrong tune at one bit and still managed to keep going to the end, laughing... six months ago I probably would have wanted to cry and storm out never to be seen again, so if that's you? Please come and join us, because there is only encouragement, and you too will become addicted to the love you find here.

18.6.08: LATEST Fallen Slowly (from the film) ONCE ... A new and very rewarding collaboration with Bruce on vocals, Kjell on Acoustic Guitar and Frank on Piano! My first stereo widget too! :D

21.5.08: White Bird ... Accidently came across this via an advert on youtube, thought Wow, asked Bruce if he would mind joining me on it and now, it's become a firm favourite with me!
18.5.08: Everybody Love's Somebody Sometime ... I love Dean Martin, and when my favourite song is being sung, well, hijack time, Bruce sings it so beautifully!
15.5.08: BLUE - Joni Mitchell ... My favourite and most memorable Joni Mitchell song, arranged by Frank
29.4.08: Who Knows Where The Time Goes with Kjellvis!!!! This is the lastest acoustic song, also on youtube, done with Kjell, his backing track here is phenomenal and stereo, every instrument is him! This is my favourite so far!!!! Thank you Kjell :-)

(working to put it back) so I just had to perform a little of this with Bruce! I rather like the way this one turned out...
