Curriculum Vitae

Building a personal profile or curriculum vitae and keeping it up to date can help you take stock of where your strengths lie. It can also help you identify your goals. Hopefully, we are not constantly looking to change where we work, but we should be striving for better and more satisfactory ways of working.

CVs help us identify how we work within a team, or how we work individually. By setting time aside to plan our goals or targets we are able to reflect upon our successes with pride. This leads to personal growth.

It is not about comparing yourself or having feelings of inadequacy, it is character building and helps us to adapt to feelings of worth and ability to set ourselves worthwhile challenges.

Over the years I can now look back on what I have learnt to do. If I did not have a curriculum vitae, I probably would not remember half of the skills I have acquired, or recognise what I have achieved.
